We are going through the process of registering our CIC. None of the team is experienced in this, so hopefully, it will happen quickly and easily, but then again, what do we know?

We know that families deserve the best help and support. When we were raising our children, we were frowned at when things went wrong and maybe praised if things went right, but we were never given the proper help and support that we could have used to help us make the best decisions. That is what we want to set up with Wor Kids.
It is interesting that in the animal kingdom, humans have an extremely lengthy developmental period or childhood. During that time, we must all learn what it is to be a member of our current society and to live in our current community. We are saying “current” because the world our children are growing up in is radically different to the world we grew up in, and the world our children’s children will grow up in will be different again. So we need to have a plan.

Wor Kids NE CIC (yes, that’s the name we’re registering) will bring a different approach to what you have seen in the media. We are adopting a family-first approach designed to support the family unit all while remaining aware that the family unit is something that is changing.
Protect will help families and carers to provide a safe environment for their children. The objective of Protect is to be free, while we will ask for donations for attending sessions, we are trying to remove any barriers to entry. We are asking the UK Government to support us by offering family-friendly DNS options limiting or blocking social media content.
Empower tackles Digital Poverty head-on! As the world becomes more digital, children are being left behind because they cannot access a computer. Empower aims to make sure every child has a computer. To make this easier, barriers to recycling must be broken down. We want to make it as easy as possible for businesses to donate their old equipment and have it rehomed where needed.
Secure elevates the free offerings of Protect. Take complete control of your home network. We provide you with not just separate WiFi for children and adults, but we can also provide you with a locally run and managed CCTV solution, including video doorbell options. We can also help you automate your home with smart lighting options, blinds and much more. The profits from this will be funnelled back into Protect and Empower
